Why EverElder exists
EverElder began the way most care coordination does: a parent who needed more support, and adult children — in different cities, with different schedules — figuring it out as they went. The tools at hand were the usual ones: a group chat that never stopped, a spreadsheet nobody kept current, a phone chain after every appointment.
The work got done, mostly. But too much of it depended on one person’s memory, and everyone else felt half a step behind. The problem was never effort or love. The problem was that none of those tools were built for a family doing this kind of work together — across cities, over years.
So we built the tool we kept wishing existed: one private, calm workspace where responsibilities are clear, information is findable, and everyone — near or far — can genuinely help. That’s EverElder. No more, and quite deliberately, no less.
